Having a laptop per child, would be a great way for a child from countries where there is high costs for developing technologies. This being that laptops would allow access and be a portal for independence and exploration. A child equipped with a laptop would gain knowledge and play for development. Not only will a laptop provide information access to the world for a child, but also a great equipment to engage their family and community. A concern of mine for having a child from a low-funded country own a laptop, would be that the laptop wouldn't be as technical as the ones in countries where laptops are easily accessible. What will the model of the laptop be like? What functions will it provide the child, and what programs will be accessible to aid the child's knowledge?
